Marta Kostyuk is a Ukrainian professional tennis player, born in 2002, known for her aggressive playing style, excellent baseline movement, and fighting spirit. She burst onto the world stage as a junior prodigy and, in recent years, has established herself among the elite of women's tennis (WTA).
Career
Brilliant Beginnings (Junior)
Kostyuk captured the world's attention in 2017 at just 14 years old by winning the Australian Open junior title. The following year, in 2018, she received a wildcard entry into the main draw of the Australian Open and reached the third round, becoming the youngest player to reach that stage of a Grand Slam since 1997.
