Aryna Sabalenka secured a place in the final of the 2026 Indian Wells tournament after defeating Linda Nosková in straight sets, 6–3 and 6–4. The victory marks the third time the world number one has reached the final of the prestigious WTA 1000 event.
Sabalenka entered the semifinal as the favorite and confirmed her dominance with a strong serving performance. She recorded 11 aces—more than double Nosková’s total—and showed greater consistency, committing only two double faults while maintaining a high first-serve percentage.
The Belarusian controlled the key moments of the match, protecting her service games and applying constant pressure on her opponent. Although Nosková managed to save several break points, her difficulties with the second serve made it hard to keep pace with Sabalenka’s aggressive play.
In the final, Sabalenka will face Elena Rybakina, who defeated Elina Svitolina 7–5, 6–4 in the other semifinal. The match will be a rematch of the Australian Open final earlier this year, which was won by Rybakina.
Despite reaching the Indian Wells final multiple times, Sabalenka is still chasing her first title at the tournament. With 22 WTA titles already in her career and this being her 43rd final, the Belarusian will once again have the opportunity to claim the trophy in California.
